Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming LOA assignment from March 22, 2027 through May 21, 2027. Work onsite at two engaging elementary schools, collaborating with dedicated educators and families to facilitate communication growth in a supportive environment. Full-time hours (37.5 per week minus two 30-minute unpaid lunches) offer stability and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships.
Key Qualifications:
- Active or in-progress Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in Speech-Language Pathology (must provide CDE license or COOL with resume for consideration)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- At least one year of hands-on classroom experience as an SLP
- Ability to work onsite for the full duration of the assignment
- Experience with elementary-age students highly valued
- SLPA applications will not be considered for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students at Columbine and University Hill Elementary
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive communication strategies
- Maintain required documentation in line with district and state guidelines
- Offer expertise in speech and language development to the broader school community
