A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year, serving a K-8 caseload in Brighton, Colorado. This onsite contract role runs from August 13, 2026, through May 20, 2027, within a public school setting dedicated to supporting student communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in school settings with K-8 populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and educational regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite with a consistent schedule Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (32 hours/week)
