This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings to support students at an elementary level in Lafayette, CO. The role is contract-based, providing a balanced schedule of three days per week with a focus on direct student contact and meaningful intervention.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing speech and language therapy to students at Emerald Elementary School
  • Collaborating with educators and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conducting assessments and maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participating in staff meetings and professional development as needed
  • Working onsite during student contact days only, ensuring regular and consistent intervention

Qualifications or desired experience:

  • Certification as an SLP with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Relevant state licensure (CDE license preferred)
  • Previous classroom experience within a school environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to working with children and school personnel
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively

Location and schedule:

  • Position located in Lafayette, CO at an elementary school
  • Contract through May 21, 2026
  • Three days per week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • 7.5 paid hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, totaling approximately 24 hours per week, with some schedule flexibility based on principal input
