Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full school year. This onsite contract position is designed for a caring and enthusiastic SLP eager to make a meaningful impact in a school setting. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with school staff, students, and families to help every child reach their full communication potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but open to qualified new graduates
- Comfortable working independently with your own dedicated therapy space
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to participate in a hybrid schedule if needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40 students at the elementary level
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to team members and parents
- Consult with teachers and staff to support carryover of communication strategies in the classroom
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
