Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical skills may also be considered
- Strong interpersonal abilities and written/verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills and adaptability to work independently and collaboratively
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, modifying approaches to meet diverse needs
- Document progress toward student goals and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
- Provide resources and guidance to staff and families to optimize student outcomes
