A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in Jamaica, NY. This contract role begins ASAP for the 2025-2026 school year, offering a consistent schedule from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, totaling 27.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include providing 55 speech therapy sessions weekly, focusing on 1:1 speech services tailored to students with disabilities. The caseload comprises 14-21 students aged 14 to 21, primarily diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, along with individuals with Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other genetic disorders.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children and young adults, especially those with ASD and related disabilities
- Ability to deliver individualized speech therapy services effectively
- Strong communication and documentation skills
