Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Valid Washington State ESA Certificate for SLP
- Valid Restraint Certification
- Experience equivalency or clinical competence certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in special education programs preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess students with communication disorders for special education placement
- Participate in the development and ongoing monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
