Seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential services to K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This rewarding in-person contract role supports students’ communication development and educational success across a diverse caseload. Multiple positions are available, offering opportunities for both standard full-time (37.5 hours/week) and a .7 full-time equivalent schedule.
You’ll collaborate closely with educational teams, utilize your expertise to design and implement tailored interventions, and directly impact students’ lives in a school-based setting. The caseload typically ranges from 48-60 students, ensuring meaningful interaction and growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington SLP License
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Fingerprinted through OSPI
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous K-12 or school-based experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational objectives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for IEPs and progress reports
- Counsel and educate students, families, and school staff regarding communication development and strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to collaborative program development
