This contract opportunity begins July 31, 2026, running through May 31, 2027, with a steady Monday-through-Friday schedule (40 hours per week). In this role, you’ll manage a caseload of 75-85 students, making a real difference for children in diverse grade levels.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Indiana Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure is required.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) to support SLPA supervision.
- Prior experience providing speech-language services in a K-12 setting is highly valued.
- Ability to travel between two school sites as needed.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students, adapting intervention strategies to meet individual needs across the K-12 spectrum.
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate records in compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines.
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed.
- Offer professional input during team meetings to support student success.
- Engage in professional development to stay current on best practices in school-based therapy.
