The ideal candidate is a passionate SLP—open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)—who thrives in collaborative school environments. This assignment requires adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license for Florida
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Open to both SLPs with CCC and those currently completing their CFY
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other school staff to support students’ educational objectives
- Maintain timely, accurate records and comply with school district and state requirements
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
