Role Summary
As an SLP in Bradenton, FL, you will work closely with students, families, and school staff to assess speech and language needs, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services. Your expertise will help students build effective communication skills, enhancing their overall academic and social success.
Responsibilities
• Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and families to support student progress
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide guidance to teachers and staff regarding communication needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
Requirements (Florida)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CFY)
• Active Florida licensure or eligibility
• School-based experience preferred but not required
