Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Florida Department of Health (SLP-CCC required)
- Recent school-based or pediatric SLP experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in assessments, IEP development, and documentation for elementary, secondary, or PreK-12 age groups
- Ability to work on-site at a variety of school locations across the district (no hybrid or virtual opportunities)
- Successful completion of Level 2 background screening and fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse
- Availability for an internal eligibility interview, including a video assessment prior to placement
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy to caseloads in elementary, secondary, or PreK-12 settings (specific hours and age groups assigned upon placement)
- Evaluate students, develop individualized goals, and collaborate in IEP meetings
- Deliver direct and consultative services, monitor progress, and maintain required documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites to support student success
