Speech and Language Pathologist in Oxon Hill, MD
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized support to K-12 students within a Maryland school setting. This position is designed for professionals who are dedicated to enhancing students’ speech, language, and communication abilities to promote success both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services as well as consultative support.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure cohesive student support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certification from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

- Contract-based role with full-time and part-time positions available.
- Responsibilities include servicing a K-12 caseload.
- On-site presence required to provide hands-on support and collaboration.
