A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support students from preschool to elementary age in a public school setting located in Bothell, WA. This position is a leave replacement role with an immediate start date and extends through March 27, 2026. The role offers flexibility, with the option to work either one day per week serving approximately nine preschool students or four days per week managing a caseload of about 36 students ranging from preschool through elementary levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to assigned students following individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and monitor student progress consistently
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective communication interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports to meet district and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
  • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
