Desired Qualifications:
- Active and current Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology license
- Previous experience working with school-aged populations (K–12); experience across elementary, middle, and high school preferred
- Knowledge of effective evaluation tools, goal setting, and progress monitoring for diverse student needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills—ability to partner with educators, families, and other specialists
- Passion for fostering student growth in both group and individual sessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through high school on assigned caseloads
- Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Provide consultation to school staff and families regarding communication strategies and student accommodations
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet a variety of communication challenges and settings
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and attend IEP meetings as required
Multiple locations are available near Bonita Springs, offering schedule flexibility; assignments may include 3 days at a high school, 1–5 days at various elementary schools, and the ability to craft a full-time role across sites.
