This contract opportunity runs from August 11, 2026, to May 27, 2027, and offers up to 35 hours per week (7 hours daily). You’ll be part of a supportive team, helping young people strengthen their communication skills and achieve academic success—while enjoying the reward of seeing your impact every day. What’s Needed for Success:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLP license
- Previous experience working in a school setting with K-12 students strongly preferred
- Availability to complete Florida school district fingerprinting (or provide valid prints from the AHCA Clearinghouse)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaborative work with students, parents, and staff
- Able to commit to on-site work throughout the contract period
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations as required
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district standards
- Participate actively in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
