Make an impact supporting students across K-12 as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in a dynamic school setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide essential speech services and evaluations, working closely with a diverse student population on-site within one school location in either Golden Gate City or Immokalee. With full-time or part-time schedules up to 35 hours per week, you’ll contribute to student success in a collaborative, welcoming educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting (K-12 preferred)
- Proficiency conducting speech and language evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
- Must complete time-sensitive fingerprinting requirements; prior fingerprints in the AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite this process
- Commitment to professional standards and ethical practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations, write reports, and develop individualized goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and caregivers to support student growth
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide progress updates
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding communication disorders
