Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility for AL licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Passion for helping students develop and thrive

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and parents
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
  • Offer support and guidance to teachers regarding speech-language concerns in the classroom
