Speech Language Pathologist in Allentown, PA

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide early intervention and school-age itinerant services in the Schnecksville, PA area. This position focuses on supporting preschool-aged children and may extend through grades PreK-12, requiring flexibility in age groups served. The assignment is based within Carbon or Lehigh County locations, with services primarily delivered in person.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver itinerant speech-language therapy services for preschool early intervention students across Carbon and Lehigh Counties
- Adapt caseload to include school-age students as needed during the school year
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to program requirements throughout the calendar year
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Pennsylvania educator credentials (Instructional I or II)
- Experience with early intervention and school-based speech-language services
- Ability to work in person and provide flexible therapy to children ranging from preschool through grade 12
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to student-centered care
Schedule and Location:
- 35 hours per week, providing year-round early intervention services and school-year assignments
- Work locations include Carbon County or Lehigh County, with itinerant travel between sites
- Position based near Schnecksville, PA with service locations spread throughout the area
