School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Bellevue, Washington
A rewarding opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this onsite contract role, you’ll engage with a diverse K-12 caseload of up to 45 students, making a lasting impact in a supportive educational setting near Bellevue, WA.
As a key member of the team, you’ll provide therapy, develop IEPs, and collaborate closely with educators and families. Your expertise will foster students’ communication skills and overall academic success throughout the full school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP Licensure/Certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Successful completion of OSPI fingerprinting
- Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably in a school environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to working onsite and engaging directly with students and teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload of up to 45 students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families
- Participate in student evaluation meetings and provide expertise on communication needs
- Help students build skills to enhance their academic and social experience
