In this role, you will be based across one or two elementary schools, serving a caseload of 40–60 students and dedicating 37.5 hours each week to their communication and educational success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLP license and credentials, holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in K–5 educational settings preferred
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, implementing IEPs, and providing therapy in a school context
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Adaptability to work across multiple school sites as assigned
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Keep accurate records of student progress and maintain all necessary documentation for compliance
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for diverse student populations
