Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to entitlement students and those enrolled in Extended School Year (ESY) programs.
- Serve diverse caseloads across multiple educational sites with varying schedules tailored to student and staff needs.
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student communication goals within the school environment.
- Maintain timely documentation and deliver services in alignment with district guidelines and state licensure requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Delaware SLP license is required; applications without this documentation will not be presented.
- Certificates of Clinical Competence (CCC) or School-based SLP credentials preferred.
- Open to Clinical Fellows, but not Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
- Experience working with school-aged children and young adults is desirable.
Work Schedule & Location:
- Monday through Thursday, with hours ranging approximately from 7:05 AM to 2:35 PM depending on location.
- Locations include various school sites in Wilmington, DE, each with specific time frames to accommodate student attendance and staff hours.
Additional Information:
- Candidates must consent to an $85 background check and fingerprinting fee, a requirement prior to placement.
- There is flexibility to combine this summer contract with the upcoming 2026/2027 school year openings or to consider ESY-only options.
