Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as required for school-based practice
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborative teamwork
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse developmental and cultural backgrounds
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services within an onsite school environment
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Use data-driven approaches to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and case conferences as required
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services provided
- Demonstrate flexibility in caseload assignment (to be discussed during interview)
