Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship year candidates welcomed
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ unique needs and goals
- Participate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend relevant meetings
- Consult with educators and family members to support generalization of skills across settings
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
