School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Aurora, Illinois
A Speech Pathologist is needed for a contract opportunity at a school in Aurora, IL. This role is ideal for professionals with experience providing speech and language therapy services within educational settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Provide consultation and training related to speech and language development
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working as a School SLP, preferably in K-12 educational environments
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and maintain accurate records
