This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position serves an elementary to junior high caseload across three schools located in Morris and Minooka, Illinois. The role begins ASAP and extends through May 2026, requiring expertise in school-based speech therapy, particularly with students on the autism spectrum.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 35 students across three schools (20 students in Morris, IL, and 15 students across two schools in Minooka, IL)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate documentation as required by school policies
- Support the communication needs of students within a special education cooperative setting
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC preferred)
- Experience working within a school setting is required
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload including students on the autism spectrum
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to work 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week across multiple school sites

Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 2026
Schedule: Full-time, with hours generally between 32.5 and 37.5 per week
