Speech Language Pathologist in Joliet, IL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Joliet, IL, serving two school sites from January 14, 2026, through May 22, 2026. This contract role offers a structured schedule, working 37.5 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, primarily supporting an elementary school caseload of 25 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records to comply with school and state guidelines.
- Monitor student performance and adjust interventions accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings as an SLP.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and independently.
- Familiarity with educational assessments and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
