Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but clinical fellows will also be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Able to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service providers to create integrated classroom support
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer training and resources to families and staff for the generalization of communication strategies beyond the therapy setting
