Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain before the start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome
- Previous experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy for a broad range of speech and language challenges
- Maintain organized and timely documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and communications
- Provide consultation, resources, and education to teachers, staff, and families
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the broader school community
