School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Aubrey, Texas
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role runs from August 12, 2026, through May 19, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM CST). You'll be a valued member of a collaborative school setting and have the advantage of working alongside an onsite SLPA who will assist with your caseload.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing school-based speech therapy, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Eligibility for state licensure as required for school speech-language pathologists
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Skilled in collaborating with educators, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions in accordance with student needs
- Maintain detailed records and progress documentation per school and district policies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success
- Supervise and coordinate with the onsite SLPA for effective service delivery
