Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for Kansas SLP practice
- Experience supporting children or adolescents in educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention planning, and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication with students, families, and school staff
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Consistent, professional work habits
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ communication strengths and needs using standardized tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Monitor progress and update documentation as required
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers, counselors, and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
- Provide guidance and resources to support carryover of strategies in the classroom
- Maintain compliance with district and federal guidelines
