Speech-Language Pathologist needed for a contract position in Leesburg, VA, focusing on school-aged children and young adults with Autism. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment serving students ages 5-22, all with varying levels of diagnosed Autism. The role is full-time, 30-35 hours per week, with a consistent schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM starting in August. This on-site position is ideal for clinicians who thrive in direct student interaction within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students with diagnosed Autism aged 5-22
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy methods as needed
- Participate in assessments and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Maintain licensure and fulfill supervision requirements if applicable
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one quickly
- CCC-SLP credential preferred
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations with Autism is highly desirable
- Open to Clinical Fellows; supervision available
- Ability to relocate or travel and obtain licensure promptly
- Unfortunately, SLPAs will not be considered for this role
