Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide in-person support for students in the Denver area. These contract positions offer the chance to make a real impact within a dynamic educational environment, working across multiple schools to serve a diverse student population.

There are two distinct openings:

  • A part-time SLP position (.5 FTE), available immediately through late May. This role is ideal for those who thrive in flexible settings, providing caseload coverage across different sites as needs arise. Expect a caseload of 20-25 students and the chance to work in a collaborative environment.
  • A full-time opportunity running from early January to the end of the school year, open to SLPs or SLPAs. You’ll work first with students at a K-8 school, then transition in mid-March to support high school students. Caseloads for this assignment range from 40-45 students at each location.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech Pathologist Endorsement; SLPA credential acceptable for the second position
  • Ability to pass required district background check and fingerprinting
  • Experience working with school-aged populations preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and evaluation of students’ speech and language abilities
  • Development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaboration with educational teams to maximize student success
  • Accurate and timely documentation according to district standards

Both assignments provide valuable experience across elementary through high school settings and the flexibility to support students in a variety of educational contexts.
