Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for clinical practice
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
  • Stay current on best practices and professional standards in school-based speech therapy
