A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide essential support to K-12 students within a Pennsylvania school district. This contract role runs through August 7, 2026, with an immediate start date. The role primarily involves covering maternity leaves in Lackawanna County and later supporting itinerant students in the Dunmore area during the spring semester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators and families to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Travel between assigned school locations in the district as needed
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license
- Proven school-based experience with K-12 students
- Ability to obtain and complete all necessary Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation for onsite work at various school locations
Work Schedule and Terms:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week, with part-time candidates considered
- Onsite work only; remote voice-over-video conferencing (VOCO) is not an option
- Contract duration: Immediate start through August 7, 2026
