School-Based SLP | Apex, North Carolina
An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a vibrant K-12 setting near Apex, NC. This full-time contract role offers a collaborative environment alongside a caring and knowledgeable team. Key Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina SLP license required
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences or Speech and Language Pathology
- Newly graduated Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply—comprehensive supervision is provided
- Previous experience in schools and with K-12 caseloads is an advantage
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
This contract position runs from late November through early June, requiring 35 hours per week. For eligible candidates, travel contracts are available—including relocation support, housing, and meal stipends.
