A temporary onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the spring 2026 semester at a middle school in Blaine, MN. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic school environment supporting students' speech and language development.
Position Details:
- Location: Middle school in Blaine, MN
- Assignment Dates: March 9, 2026 – June 5, 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 18 hours per week (0.5 FTE)
- Daily Hours: Approximately 3.6 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language evaluations to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) addressing speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language interventions
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working in school settings providing speech therapy to children
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families
