School Speech Language Pathologist - Anoka, MN
Step into a rewarding contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working across two vibrant elementary schools approximately 23 hours per week (0.6 FTE). This engaging position focuses on supporting K–5 students, helping them unlock their communication potential for academic and social success. Starting in Fall 2026, you’ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact throughout the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active State SLP license
- Previous experience providing speech-language therapy in a school setting, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong collaborative skills to work with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational skills to manage documentation and flexible caseloads across multiple buildings
- Passion for fostering growth and confidence in young learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify student speech, language, and communication challenges to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to K–5 students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records related to student progress, assessments, and IEP documentation
- Travel between two elementary campuses as needed to meet the needs of your caseload (specific assignments to be determined)
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment that encourages each child’s voice and participation
