Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, though motivated professionals from other backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools and procedures
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic activities to address students’ needs
- Conduct direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, targeting articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and family members to optimize student outcomes
- Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide education and resources to school staff and parents as needed
