A temporary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Andover, MN. This contract role runs from March 9, 2026, through June 5, 2026, providing approximately 18 hours per week of service (.5 FTE) to support student needs with speech and language interventions. The role requires expertise in school-based speech-language pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, diagnostics, and individualized therapy to students
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to student goals and educational standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to monitor student progress
- Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and reports in compliance with district policies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and maintain caseload management
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Current SLP licensure suitable for school settings
- Experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining quality care
Schedule and Location:
- Position is onsite at a middle school in the Blaine, MN area
- Monday through Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Caseload averaging 18 hours weekly (.5 FTE)
