Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in New York State
- New York State Teaching Certification in Speech & Hearing Handicapped or Speech and Language Disabilities
- Background in pediatric speech therapy, including those who hold CCC or are completing CFY
- Experience in school settings preferred, but not required
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver up to 20 sessions per week (30 minutes each) serving students identified with speech and language needs
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans according to students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student progress
- Document student progress, session notes, and work within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal guidelines
