Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Hold or eligible for SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) through ASHA
  • Licensed (or ability to obtain licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist for school settings
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ranging from early childhood to high school, is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in assessments, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and implementing a variety of therapy techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as needed
  • Develop and implement goal-oriented, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Provide direct therapy and consultation for students with diverse speech and language goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and support staff by sharing strategies for student success in the academic environment
