Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Hold or eligible for SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) through ASHA
- Licensed (or ability to obtain licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist for school settings
- Experience working with school-aged children, ranging from early childhood to high school, is highly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in assessments, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and implementing a variety of therapy techniques
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as needed
- Develop and implement goal-oriented, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Provide direct therapy and consultation for students with diverse speech and language goals
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Serve as a resource for teachers and support staff by sharing strategies for student success in the academic environment
