Travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Anchorage, AK
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are needed for the 2026-2027 school year in Anchorage, Alaska. This full-time, onsite position provides an exciting opportunity to support students in elementary school settings as part of a dynamic educational team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students across approximately two elementary schools
- Manage a caseload averaging 47 students with diverse speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Ensure compliance with state certification and licensure requirements and adhere to district policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification and licensure in Alaska (SLPs must hold CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time, 40 hours per week (8.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Commitment to supporting student success and promoting inclusive educational environments
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based onsite in Anchorage, Alaska
- School year commitment from August 14, 2026, through May 27, 2027
- Full-time schedule with no virtual option available
