Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine the ongoing need for Auditory-Verbal Therapy (AVT) services for individual students.
- Deliver AVT sessions once a month, each lasting 60 minutes, focusing on enhancing listening and spoken language abilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and educators, to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant licensing and certification requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current LSLS Cert. AVT (Listening and Spoken Language Specialist – Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist) certification.
- State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Audiologist, or Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) valid in California.
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably supporting students with hearing loss.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with children, families, and educational teams.

- Onsite position in Rowland Heights, Los Angeles, California.
