A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide services for students in grades K-12. This contract position is onsite at a school located in Holyoke, MA and includes Extended School Year (ESY) responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to K-12 students’ needs
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services across a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in ESY program activities during the contract period
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license appropriate for the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and intervention strategies
- Ability to work onsite during regular school hours, including ESY sessions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
