This position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC or CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) eager to make a difference within a dynamic school setting. You’ll work across 2-3 buildings—primarily in elementary schools, with some middle school involvement—gaining valuable experience and making a meaningful impact.
Bring your skills in pediatric speech therapy and collaborate with caring teams to develop creative, effective interventions. This role also offers exciting teletherapy options and the flexibility to apply your expertise in both in-person and remote formats. Compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $45 to $57 per hour depending on school-based experience.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of CFY; SLPAs considered
- Active state licensure and ASHA CCCs or eligibility (if applicable)
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school settings
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Comfort providing therapy in both in-person and teletherapy formats
- Ability to work across multiple schools and with diverse age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, focusing on elementary and some middle school populations
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and write IEPs
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain documentation and track student progress
- Participate in meetings and support staff with speech-language strategies
- Flexibly adapt schedules between assigned buildings
