A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide services across various schools within the Intermediate Unit region, including Bethlehem and Easton, PA. This contract role involves working 35 hours per week with students ranging from PreK through 12th grade, specializing in moderate to severe needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students with moderate to severe communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Adapt therapy approaches based on caseload and location requirements, as no set caseloads or fixed locations are assigned currently.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in school settings with PreK-12 student populations.
- Ability to manage diverse and dynamic caseloads.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations throughout the IU service area.
Location: The position requires travel to various schools within the Intermediate Unit, including Bethlehem, Easton, and surrounding communities in Pennsylvania.
