A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support a school setting in Albany, NY. This position offers approximately 32.5 hours per week with a caseload of 40-50 students, serving a diverse population requiring specialized speech and language services. This role is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through June.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
- Deliver direct therapy services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student assessments and therapy sessions.
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required by the school.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid New York State SLP license.
- Certification as Teacher of Students with Speech and Hearing Handicaps (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) endorsed by the Department of Education.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
