Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with PreK, elementary, middle, and high school-aged students
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to assess and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Adaptability to work in multiple school settings and grade levels
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with classroom teachers, special educators, and families
- Engage in ongoing professional development and school trainings
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment for all students
