Speech Language Pathologist in Alabaster, AL

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA certification and state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to create a welcoming and productive atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide engaging and evidence-based speech and language therapy services, both individual and group
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
- Offer training and resources to staff and families to foster generalization of skills
